Looking for an authentic spot…vast grounds located less than 4hrs by mo-torway from Paris or Toulouse… In the heart of the Limousin countryside: no jet-lag and a real change of scenery. Do you like sport, nature and culture? This is the place for you!

An ideal setting for relaxation as well as many outdoor sports : walking, golf, kayaking, mountain biking, horse-riding, wind surfing, adventure trails… From the gates of the Château de Sannat you can access many walking trails totalling almost 46km of enchanting walks!
You can also visit the Périgord Limousin park and the Milles Vaches plateau.

The Limousin region cultivates the art of gastronomy generously with its mouth-watering recipes and gourmet restaurants. Known for its apples, berries, mushrooms…and also for its quality labeled meat (Bellac lamb, suckling veal “ veau sous la Mère”, beef, Limousin golden…).

Scattered with picturesque and welcoming villages (some of which figure in the ranks of France’s Most Beautiful Villages), the region also stands out with a myriad of cultural attractions : muse-ums, Romanesque churches, châteaux and fortresses enchant the visitors who are won over by a journey through the history of France
France’s Most Beautiful Villages : Mortemart, Curemonte, Turenne, Saint-Robert, Ségur-le-Château and Collonge-la-Rouge.
Limoges, which was awarded the title of “International Capital of Porcelaine” in 1925 during the international decorative arts fair, is a treasure trove of ancestral discoveries. Seeped in art and history, you will discover the Art of Firing with a large number of museums dedicated to porcelaine and stained glass.

Le Musée des Beaux Arts (Museum of Fine Art), la Maison de l’émail (Enamel House) , the Casseaux porcelaine kiln and the Adrian Duboucher Museum, which was fully renovated in 2013.

The Limousin is the birthplace of Tulle lace and Aubusson tapestries, listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. The must-see Musée Départemental de la Tapisserie (Museum of Tapestry) pre-sents the age-old Aubusson and Felletin productions as well as the Maison du Tapissier (Tapestry-maker’s house), a magnificent 16th Century house.

The Limousin is also a land of meditation and contemplation with the sadly infamous Oradour-sur-Glane and its Memorial which should not be missed.
